The UEFA Championship Semi-finals are set and there will be at least 1 English Premier club in the finals. 3 of the final 4 are from the Premier league. My boys at Chelsea will be facing the hottest and perhaps THE best team in Europe right now, Barcelona. From what I've read, Barcelona and Chelsea have faced each other 8 times this century and both have 3 wins and a draw each. Barcelona should be considered the favorites in that draw. The other semi-final draw is Arsenal facing the defending champs, Manchester United. Of course, there is one question that's in mind... Could it be another rematch of last year's final? Boy, that would be great!!

Not much to blog about today... check you back later..

Where did Kiko Macheda come from?

For the second straight week, Macheda was the hero for Manchester United as he scored the winning goal and saved Man U from losing out on points. Sir Alex definitely knows how to scout talent. He got this kid from Lazio and now Lazio is bitching about Man U and other big time European teams act like vultures and target the youth players and take them for their own.

Well, so far, he's never gone wrong with the talent he's brought in to Man U. Chelsea should adopt that same philosophy, get some young players and insert them in your team. Instead of bringing in older players and just let them play for a couple of years and retire. They should invest in the future.

That's just me talking...

On a sour note, my brother's gf's dog, Cody, might have an infection on his nose. He's been licking his nose for the last couple of weeks and all of us thought it was just dry until yesterday. I guess my brother saw him lick his nose and there was blood there. They brought him to the doctor earlier today but they haven't given me any info about him. Poor thing...
Just saw the pilot episode of Southland. I thought it was a very good depiction of life in the PD, especially the relationship between CTO and trainee. I thought it was a very good show and surprised that it was shown so late in the game.

From the looks of it, it shows more of the action on the street than the drama behind the scenes or the drama from the officer's lives. Amy Biderman, you scored on this one.. Aces!
It's been over a month since my last post.. WOW! I couldn't believe it either... I'd like to say that it won't happen again, but I've said that before already...

Anyway, Chelsea won its game against Bolton today, 4-3. Bolton sure was pesky and frisky today. They put up a fight. Now, Chelsea needs to focus on their Home game against Liverpool int he Champions League on Tuesday. That should be a humdinger of a match. Last Wednesday game was unreal, I almost gave up on my Blues, but they figured out a way to score 3 away goals at Anfield. It was a great match! Now Liverpool needs to score 3 goals at Stamford Bridge to win, that is if Chelsea doesn't score a goal. I'm not gonna predict anything but without their Captain on Wednesday, its gonna be a little tough. We'll see...

I need to do some grocery shopping today, as well as buy a new mouse for my laptop. I'll probably get one of those bluetooth mouse for my Mac. I'll leave the other wireless one stationed on my PC. Everytime I move it, it just screws up the connectivity of the mouse to the laptop. Bugger that!

Oh yeah, before I forget... I saw that new sit-com, Parks and Recreation, yesterday. I'm not impressed. It's the Office outdoors. It's like changing the whole cast of the Office and replacing it with Amy Poehler and friends. I just don't like the vibe. Have the writers really lost their ability to be creative and just say "Hey, the Office is such a success, let's make a show like the Office but in a different environment". Why not a department store... surely, there are a lot of events that go on there which are more fun than constantly building parks. There's no sustaining factor, you can't sustain that for more than a year. What's next? Build a theme park? I've said too much already...

Hopefully I'd be blogging again tomorrow or later...
